Kaartavaraayan aka Raayan (Dhanush) leads a peaceful life with his siblings in Anjanaouram. However, their tranquility is shattered when Muthu (Sundeep Kishan) gets into a fight with the local don Dorai’s (Saravanan) men, setting off a dangerous rivalry. Sethuram (SJ Suryah), another gangster, steps into the fray with a deadly plan to eliminate Raayan.
Overall, Raayan offers nothing new but remains passable due to the strong performances. The action scenes are adequate but not suitable for family audiences. The lack of a strong hook point and a dragging second half are notable drawbacks. If you still decide to watch it, manage your expectations accordingly.
