ADEN, YEMEN – The Indian Navy has successfully intervened in a high-stakes hijacking in the Gulf of Aden, rescuing an Iranian vessel and its crew. The Iranian-flagged cargo ship, Al Kambar, was reportedly seized by armed pirates earlier today.
In a swift response, the Indian Navy deployed warships to the region. After intercepting the hijacked vessel, highly trained naval forces secured the ship and apprehended the suspects. Initial reports indicate all crew members are safe.
