AP ECET 2024 Notification, Exam Date, Eligibility, Application Form, Fee

The application window for an upcoming entrance exam has closed. The application period ran from March 15th, 2024 to April 15th, 2024. The exam itself will be held on May 8th, 2024, and will be a computer-based test (CBT) administered in English.  The exam will last 3 hours and consist of 200 questions. Each correct answer earns you 1 point and there is no penalty for incorrect answers. Application fees vary depending on your category:  ₹600 for Open Category (OC), ₹550 for Backward Classes (BC), and ₹500 for Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Castes (SC).  For more information, including any notifications or the possibility of applying for future exams,  visit the official website: https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/.

AP ECET 2024 Exam Pattern

AP ECET 2024 will be administered by JNTU, Kakinada in the CBT mode. Candidates who are going to participate in the exam need to know that a total number of 200 multiple-choice questions will be asked from different sections:

  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Engineering Branch

Qualifications for Education

The candidate must have completed a diploma program in engineering or technology from an AICTE/SBTE-accredited institution in Andhra Pradesh and have passed the intermediate test with the PCM group.

OR

A three-year Bachelor of Mathematics degree has been pursued by an individual from a university recognized by the UGC.

OR

Participants in the last year or semester of a three-year Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a Diploma in Engineering or Technology are also eligible to take this exam.
