Official: Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD to release on June 27, 2024

Kalki 2898 AD will be released on the silver screens on June 27, 2024. The team released a stunning poster of Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone to reveal the release date. The poster quality is just spectacular.

Amitabh Bachchan plays the immortal Ashwattama in this film, and movie buffs wonder how this mythological character will be connected with the futuristic world. Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani are playing vital roles. Aswani Dutt is producing this big-ticket entertainer under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies.

The poster shows Prabhas in the centre, flanked by Deepika and Amitabh’s characters. While Deepika looks like she’s going to play some sort of warrior in the movie, Amitabh was recently revealed to be playing the mentor figure Ashwatthama. He dons a long beard and even longer robes in the poster, which also teases a desolate post-apocalyptic landscape. A teaser, which was unveiled at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con event, drew comparisons to Denis Villeneuve’s Dune movies with its desert setting and costumes.
