Possible Retentions by Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL Auction 2024

As the IPL 2024 auction approaches, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be strategizing to retain their core players who have shown exceptional performance and promise. Here are some potential retentions for SRH:

1. Pat Cummins

Pat Cummins, the Australian all-rounder, has been a pivotal figure for SRH. His leadership and bowling prowess have been instrumental in the team’s success. Cummins’ ability to deliver in crunch situations makes him a top candidate for retention. Cummins price tag is so much but considering his potential and the way he redefined SRH he is definitely possible retention Number one.

2. Travis Head

Travis Head has been a standout performer, especially during the Power-Play. His aggressive batting style has helped SRH set strong foundations in many matches. With a strike rate of over 190 in the last season, Head is likely to be retained.

3. Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma, the young Indian opener, has impressed with his belligerent strokeplay. His ability to score quickly and his potential as a future captain make him a valuable asset for SRH. His all-round capabilities add further value to his retention. He also debuted in the national side with his six-hitting abilities and remained the most number of sixes hitted by a Indian player in IPL history.

4. Heinrich Klaasen

Heinrich Klaasen, known for his ability to handle both spin and pace, has been a key player in the middle order. His consistent performances and ability to accelerate the scoring rate make him a strong candidate for retention. SRH don’t even consider losing him.

5. T. Natarajan/Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Despite injury struggles, T. Natarajan remains one of the most effective death bowlers in the league. His ability to bowl yorkers under pressure is a rare skill, making him a likely retention for SRH. On the other side Bhuvi the prince and legend of SRH is definitely be retained or buyed back again in auction. His vast experience and ability to defend and swing the ball both ways is an asset for SRH.

6. Nitish Kumar Reddy

Nitish Kumar Reddy, the emerging player from Andhra, has shown great potential. His performances in the IPL 2024 earned him the Emerging Player of the Tournament award. As an uncapped player, he offers great value for money and is expected to be retained, He’s also ready to make his debut for India in the Bangladesh series. If he makes his debut he cannot be retained by SRH as uncapped player.
