This year, Aditya Srivastava emerged at the top, securing the coveted All India Rank (AIR) 1. Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy followed closely behind, securing AIR 2 and AIR 3 respectively.

A total of 1,016 candidates have been recommended for coveted positions across various central services. These include the highly sought-after Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS).
It’s important to note that 355 of these recommendations are provisional.
The results reflect a diverse range of successful candidates with representation from the General (347), EWS (115), OBC (303), SC (165), and ST (86) categories.
Exam Stages
The rigorous UPSC CSE selection process involves three stages:
- Preliminaries: Conducted on May 28, 2023, to assess basic aptitude.
- Mains: Held from September 15 to 19, 2023, evaluating candidates through in-depth written examinations.
- Interviews: Occurring between January 4 and April 9, 2024, for a comprehensive evaluation.

Those who excelled above the cut-off marks will now be eligible for esteemed positions within the IAS, IFS, IPS, and various other central services.
